My baby left me and she’s all that I had
I knew this night would come the day I was born
She never looked back as she reached for the door
I probably could have begged or even prayed
But in my mind I know that if she had stayed
It wouldn’t change a thing, she’d get off clean

It’s the timing and structure that buckling and crumbling down

To react is just natural so I’ll stand by and not make a sound
And while she’s out on the town
